As a Senior Market and Product Expansion Associate in Malaysia Payments team, you contribute significantly to your team's success and test the regulatory requirements for our products. You work across the organization, build critical relationships, and prepare the products to go to market.
Job responsibilities
- Serve as the voice of the market to prioritize regulatory requirements and client, partner, and sales needs in product strategy and development.
- Support Product Management in obtaining market approvals and addressing local government and regulatory requirements.
- Tailor and execute commercialization activities and collateral to ensure products resonate with the Malaysian market.
- Ensure product readiness for market release by securing necessary sign-offs, interfacing with regulators, and collaborating with partners.
- Advocate for market expansion and drive efforts to achieve business targets, including revenue, market share, and growth.
- Deliver and execute product initiatives within timelines, ensuring successful roll-outs and commercialization in Malaysia.
- Monitor product performance and respond to issues to maintain resiliency and stability in the market.
- Drive new wins and promotions across products and segments to expand our Payments footprint.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key in-market functional partners and cross-line of business stakeholders.
- Lead and collaborate effectively across teams to drive business objectives and foster local innovation.
- Manage risk and control requirements by engaging with regulators, completing governance processes, and remediating incidents and audit findings.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven minimum 5 years of experience in Payments, Transaction Banking, or related financial services, with strong knowledge of local market requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy and drive market adoption.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience interfacing with regulators and managing governance requirements.
- Experience collaborating with technology teams, developers, and managing product deployment projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
