About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software developer for "Technology for Chief operating Officer (TCOO)", this position will cater to Wholesale.
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Develop complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Participate in review and analysis complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Develop Tools and Utilities for application. Develop Extensible features using RAD/ODT tool.
- Hands one experience in automated unit testing, customizations of Oracle suite of product, interfaces, tools, utilities, RAD/ODT and OBX Screens to ensure that they confirm to the requirement
- Exhibit sense of urgency in handing Production/Critical defects and in ensuring Production stability
- Software Engineering: Covers jobs responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of general
- modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products.
- 4+ years experience in Flexcube domain/ Corporate Banking/ Oracle Banking Payments, Oracle Banking Liquidity Management areas.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM) or Liquidity Management (OBLM).
- Technical and/or functional knowledge in banking modules - Banking Base, International Payments, Term Deposit, Foreign Exchange and Money Markets.
- 4+ years experience in Design & development in MVC architecture by leveraging Spring Boot, web services, APIG etc. Have developed and implemented JAVA based application
- Good communication skills, should be able to write clear crisp design documentation and articulate the same with various global stake holders
- 4+ years experience in Automation development for banking domain modules like Core banking, International payments, Liquidity management.
Technical Skills:
- Core Java, J2EE, Oracle PL/SQL, spring boot and spring
- Unix, Microservices, Web Services, Weblogic , JMS, MQ
- DevOps (CI/CD) and Automation of Build & Deployment
- Automated testing using Selenium or Cucumber.
- Skilled in the product functionalities - Money Markets, Foreign Exchange, Term Deposits, Integration Gateway and Core module.
- Familiar with infrastructure planning and related tools
- Automated Testing approach for Unit Testing & Integrated Testing using Cucumber, Selenium, Junit, JMeter etc
- Experience in Cloud enablement / Cloud based application and Microservices based product/applications.
