Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with React.js and modern front-end development frameworks, including state management and responsive UI development.
  • Experience designing and implementing Event-Driven Architectures using messaging and streaming platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Apache Kafka concepts, producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and event-driven integration patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools such as GitHub Actions, Harness, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong source control and branching strategy experience using Git.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated unit tests, integration tests, and test automation frameworks.
  • Experience working with at least one NoSQL database such as MongoDB or similar technologies.
  • Good understanding of software design patterns, secure coding practices, and application performance optimization.
  • Awareness of Python and its usage in automation, scripting, data processing, or AI/ML-related initiatives.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional distributed teams.
  • Participate in code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Authentication, Authorization, Privileged Access Management, or related security domains is a strong plus
