As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy production-grade software solutions within a modern cloud-native microservices architecture. You will play a key role in enhancing existing applications, modernising platforms, improving automation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do...
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
- Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop robust backend services and business logic to support application functionality and integration.
- Design and manage relational databases, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
- Develop, publish, and consume secure REST APIs using industry best practices and API management solutions such as Apigee.
- Design highly available and resilient cloud-native solutions targeting enterprise service reliability requirements.
- Implement automated testing strategies and maintain strong test coverage to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- 2+ years of experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience developing front-end applications using Angular.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and API integrations.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:
- Cloud Run
- Cloud Run Jobs
- Cloud Scheduler
- Secret Manager
- Pub/Sub
- Cloud Monitoring
- Strong experience with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git-based source control and collaborative development practices.

- Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices, including Tekton pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

- Experience working within warranty, aftersales, or automotive service platforms.
