About the Role 

As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will help design, develop, and maintain software solutions that have a real impact. You will work in cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and contribute to projects that make a difference for our users. Your input will help drive innovation and improve our products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions as part of a collaborative team.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported by customers and colleagues.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to a supportive team environment.
  • Assist with project planning and effort estimation for upcoming work.
  • Support other teams as needed and contribute to ongoing improvements.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while guiding others through problem-solving.

  • Proficiency in Python and must have direct experience with AI tools like LLM APIs (OpenAI, Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI). Understanding of OOPS concepts (.Net).

  • Work experience in RAG pipelines: chunking, embeddings, vector stores, retrieval quality, Structured extraction with Pydantic or similar schema-driven approaches, Agentic patterns and orchestration (Lang Graph, Lang Chain, or hand-rolled equivalents; framework matters less than understanding the patterns), Prompt engineering and some awareness of evals/testing LLM outputs.

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design, performance optimization, stored procedures, and advanced troubleshooting.

  • Experience in application design, root cause analysis, and the development of shared or reusable components.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.

  • Understanding of security engineering principles and their practical application and Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and TypeScript/node.js is a plus.
