Primary Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end delivery of software solutions, including requirements analysis, architecture review, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
  • Lead technical design reviews and provide guidance on architecture decisions, scalability, performance optimization, resiliency, and maintainability
  • Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Operations, Security, and Business stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable technology solutions
  • Drive engineering excellence through adoption of best practices in software design, coding standards, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native development
  • Ensure successful execution of multiple concurrent projects by managing scope, risks, dependencies, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Champion Agile and DevOps practices, enabling predictable delivery and continuous improvement across teams
  • Establish engineering metrics and operational KPIs to improve product quality, system reliability, customer satisfaction, and team productivity
  • Drive security-first development practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards, healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and secure coding principles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technology roadmaps and align engineering investments with business priorities
  • Support production operations by ensuring effective incident management, root cause analysis, problem resolution, and preventive action planning
  • Recruit, retain, and develop engineering talent through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and career development
  • Foster innovation by evaluating emerging technologies, AI capabilities, automation opportunities, and engineering tools that improve organizational efficiency
  • Communicate project status, technical risks, delivery progress, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and business stakeholders
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • 9+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years of technical leadership experience
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex software systems
  • Demonstrated experience leading software delivery teams using Agile methodologies
  • Experience in Healthcare, Dental, Claims Processing, EDI/X12, Eligibility, Provider or Payer technologies
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, PHI/PII protection requirements, and security frameworks
  • Technical Skills
    • Hands-on experience with React JS and MFE
    • Experience with Azure cloud services, Kubernetes/AKS, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
    • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development, automation platforms, and engineering productivity tools
    • Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, security controls, and performance optimization
    • Solid expertise in modern application development using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies
    • Proficiency in designing APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and distributed systems
  • Soft Skills
