We are looking for talented full stack software engineers to play a pivotal role in creating new systems that support our internal company operations. We are looking for individuals who have a growth mindset to help grow our impact across HubSpot's internal operations.

In this role, you’ll be working closely with technology that impacts the systems that our employees use everyday to stay productive and keep HubSpot growing. You will be responsible for understanding core internal functions and their problems in order to develop and implement tech-forward solutions. Because this team serves internal teams, the role will involve integrating custom solutions and AI capabilities into our portfolio of third party SaaS to drive business efficiency and remove friction from employees' lives. You will work closely with some of our functional operations teams as well as other Software Engineers, Intelligent Automation Engineers, Business Systems Analysts, and business leaders to understand business challenges and deliver impactful solutions.

What we’re looking for

  • An experienced engineer interested in full-stack development writing in Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Develop, maintain, and improve internal technology solutions (may be through stand-alone custom apps or hybrid solutions integrated with 3rd party SaaS)
  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in the domains you work on in order to help the business solve problems
  • Take ownership of projects, work collaboratively, and figure things out to make an impact using tools such AI
  • A level of comfort on a team doing new things where all the processes haven't already been figured out
  • Have a thirst for technical challenges with big data and distributed systems, including HBase, Kafka, Elasticsearch and Dropwizard
  • Demonstrate pragmatic decision making and problem-solving abilities while documenting each step of the process
  • Interested in creating new software that helps to drive the success of our internal teams

Cash compensation range: 186300-279500 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
