In this role you will:

Design, develop, test, install, and support programs/systems. You will support project proposals by collaborating with collaborators from various functions and geographies. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Design, implement, and maintain Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems.
• Front end development using Angular
• Involve in requirement gathering meetings and produce extensive analysis of the Use Cases and Entity Relationship and Data Flow Models
• Ensure designs comply with specifications.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
• Participate in design/code reviews and provide insightful comments to improve design/code quality.
• Create shell scripts and PL/SQL scripts to process data feeds from multiple systems.
• Automate the build and deployment process by using CICD tools.
• Implement Agile principles with BDD methodology during development process.
• Restructure build environment to implement technologies such as Maven, Hibernate, Spring, and SQL Loader.
• Participate in Server upgrades, and code migrations.

Preferred qualifications:

• Advanced certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies.
• Experience with project management in a technical setting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A track record of successfully implementing innovative solutions.
• Strong understanding of financial systems and secure messaging protocols.

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $92,120 MINIMUM to 171,080 MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employees contingent on personal and company performance.
