About airEML team:
airEML - Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) that supports Email, SMS, Push, and Fax channels.
This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing high-performance services using Go, ensuring the system can handle large-scale communications across all channels.
The engineer will work on advanced features like segmentation, audience management, and journey automation, as well as building systems for real-time statistics and analytics.
Also this role involves maintaining and optimizing the SMTP infrastructure and integrating third-party services to extend the platform's capabilities. Will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform’s reliability, efficiency, and security in a production environment, playing a critical part in delivering a scalable, enterprise-ready communication solution.
What you'll be working on:
- Design and build new services from scratch;
- Maintain existing services written on Golang;
- Build APIs and data processing services;
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes;
- Actively participate in code reviews;
- Increase system’s performance and speed;
- Implement integrations with other products APIs.
What we expect from you:
- 4+ years of software engineering experience;
- 2+ year of development experience in GoLang;
- Experience designing and implementing performant APIs on distributed systems;
- Strong knowledge of data design and database systems;
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases;
- Experience with message queue brokers;
- Knowledge of REST and gRPC principles;
- Experience with git and GitHub;
- Experience with Docker and K8S;
- High level of self-awareness and proactivity.
