Job Description:
As a Full Stack Developer, develop and implement new modules and APIs for AppBuilder. Currently, we use Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, jQuery, PostgreSQL. We are an agile software development shop and believe in automated testing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new modules and APIs for AppBuilder.
- Based on requirements, build new features for our product.
- Work closely with our designers and project management team to craft well thought out user experiences
- Estimate development tasks and meet deadline
- Automate test cases when needed
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience using current language(s) for web development is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the languages listed:
- Ruby on Rails
- JavaScript
- React
- Experience with PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Experience in UI development.
- Demonstrated full cycle development leveraging Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work and develop in Mac/Linux environment.
- Backend development experience is AWESOME to have.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be a team player and should be able to work with diverse teams locally and globally.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Cypress and RSpec.
- Experience in resolving customer issues.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to master any technology, language, or development environment that we need in the future.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of engineering in computer science/Software engineering or other similar equivalent disciplines is preferred.
