Primary Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of feature development, from technical design and implementation to deployment, using Java/Spring Boot (backend) and Angular or React (frontend)
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable microservices on Azure. Manage containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, reliable releases
- Design efficient database schemas and write complex, high-performance SQL queries. Use JPA/Hibernate to manage persistence layers while proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks
- Integrate AI-augmented workflows (GitHub Copilot/ChatGPT) into the daily development lifecycle to boost velocity. Lead the integration of LLMs/AI models into application features to drive business value
- Design, build, and document robust RESTful APIs. Ensure backward compatibility, security, and scalability for both internal and external integrations
- Champion high coding standards by conducting thorough code reviews and enforcing best practices in unit/integration testing (JUnit/Mockito). Actively identify and address technical debt
- Act as a key contributor in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications, proactively highlighting risks and offering scalable solutions
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of solid proficiency in backend development using Java (Spring Boot) and frontend development using Angular or React
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying Microservices on Azure (or AWS/GCP) using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps)
- Real-time experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise) to accelerate coding workflows, alongside experience integrating LLMs/AI models into application logic
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a strong focus on code reviews, unit testing (JUnit/Mockito), and version control (Git)
- Solid understanding of SQL (Database design, query optimization) and experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
