What’s the role all about?
As a Senior Software Engineer in the PerfOps team, you will design, develop, and enhance automation frameworks, tools, and platform solutions that improve performance testing, monitoring, and engineering productivity. You will work with engineering, DevOps, and application teams to build scalable Python-based solutions, cloud integrations, CI/CD automation, and observability capabilities that enable reliable and high-performing applications.You will also leverage AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to improve development speed, code quality, automation, and troubleshooting.
How will you make an impact?
- Develop and enhance performance testing tools, automation frameworks, and internal platforms.
- Build Python-based applications, APIs, and automation solutions.
- Integrate testing tools, monitoring platforms, logs, and dashboards.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Develop solutions for performance analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Build reusable components to improve engineering efficiency.
- Automate manual processes and improve operational productivity.
- Work on cloud-based solutions and Infrastructure as Code.
Have you got what it takes?
- 4–7 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong Experience with Java, JavaScript, or frontend technologies.
- Experience with developing APIs, microservices,
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, DDB), Git, Docker, and Linux.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred).
- Hands-on AWS experience and understanding of cloud services.
- Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, APM).
- Experience with automation frameworks and troubleshooting.
- Good communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to AI-enabled engineering practices and developer tools.
Good to Have
- Experience with performance testing tools (BlazeMeter, JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, K6).
- Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration knowledge.
- Terraform / CloudFormation experience.
- Python development skills and software engineering fundamentals.
