The Cloud Platforms - Observability organization helps to build the Infrastructure Monitoring products at Datadog. We serve as the API to the Clouds for all of Datadog and our customers, and act as the ingestion point for all telemetry data from Cloud or SaaS providers. We partner with Cloud Providers to develop features and integrations that benefit our mutual customers. As a Software Engineer in this organization, you'll work on building out new features and functionality into Datadog's original product. Your systems will be operating at a high-scale, and will be used directly by customers. We are in the process of refreshing and expanding our Cloud Observability offering - you'd be joining at an excellent time to be a driving force in this change.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships that it builds, the creativity it brings to the table, and the collaboration of being together. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

- Work with Product and Engineering leadership to design, implement, and deliver the next generation of Cloud Observability products at Datadog
- Assist in our efforts to reduce toil, automate mechanical processes, and move code to config; all in service of freeing Engineering time to invest in new product development
Who You Are:
- Self motivated, self starter builder who takes pride in solving problems for your customers and are able to identify customer needs and pain points proactively
- A proven ability to own and deliver features in a fast-paced, high-growth environment to build new products
