What You'll Do
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-scale, cloud-native backend applications and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Lead a small team of software engineers to achieve sprint goals, manage technical deliverables, enforce code quality standards, and conduct peer code reviews while reporting into a Senior Tech Lead.
Apply modern engineering practices including microservices design, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), serverless computing, and CI/CD automation to build resilient services.
Triage, debug, and resolve complex production or system issues across distributed microservices, optimizing performance, data access, and operational quality.
Actively participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Architecture Reviews, and Retrospectives within a globally distributed engineering team.
What Experience You Need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience writing, debugging, and maintaining enterprise applications using Java (JDK 17+) and Spring Boot.
5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade RESTful microservices architectures.
3+ years of experience developing cloud-native solutions on public cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE/EKS).
3+ years of experience deploying software via automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) using modern build tools (Maven/Gradle) and Git version control.
1+ years of experience acting as a technical lead, module lead, or mentor for a software engineering team.

Exposure to GenAI integration concepts, prompt engineering, or embedding AI capabilities into enterprise microservices.
Active Cloud Certification (e.g., Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer / Professional Cloud Developer, AWS Certified Developer).
Exposure to API management platforms like Google Cloud Apigee for designing, securing, and monitoring APIs.
Practical exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts and tools such as Terraform or Helm Charts.
