Job DescriptionOur Cards API powers programmatic digital and physical card issuance for global fintech leaders such as Nubank, Tiger Brokers, and XP, alongside a full suite of management tools for spending controls and limits. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (IC3) to join the fast-growing Platform Issuance team in Singapore. In this role, you’ll drive features that solve our partners’ challenges, including accelerating onboarding, optimizing liquidity, combating fraud, and delivering card analytics.
Operating in an autonomous, cross-functional team, you’ll work with PMs, Analysts, and fellow Engineers to decide what we build, not just how we build it.
QualificationsTechnical
Strong experience building microservices, event-driven architectures, relational databases, and well-designed APIs.
Ability to design and build resilient and scalable systems
Commitment to maintainable and well-tested software, predictable delivery, effective observability, and proactive technical debt management.
Product Mindset
Strong product mindset, connecting engineering decisions to customer outcomes.
Focused on the partner experience, ensuring APIs are simple to consume and well documented.
End-to-end ownership of impactful projects, from understanding the problem and shaping the solution through delivery, rollout, measurement, and future roadmap planning
Leadership & Collaboration
Accountable for the availability, reliability, and security of the systems you and your team build.
Self-starting and collaborative approach, with the confidence to work independently, take initiative, own the technical roadmap and deliverables of your projects
Clear and adaptable communication, translating complex technical concepts for different audiences and collaborating effectively across functions to reach practical, well-balanced solutions that achieve your team's goals.
Nice-to-have
Experience with Java, Spring Boot and Kafka
Experience building a finance API
Experience in the card payments domain, either as an issuer or acquirer
