🏥 About Marble Health
Marble is building the operating system for youth mental health, connecting schools, therapists, families, and payers to deliver effective care to kids who need it most. We’re growing 40% MoM, just raised our Series A ($15.5M led by Inspired Capital), and are expanding rapidly beyond New York.
Our platform integrates scheduling, communication, documentation, billing, and more – all to reduce friction for providers and improve care for kids. We're on a mission to empower a healthier, happier generation, and we're just getting started.
⭐ Role Overview
We believe that AI has the potential to dramatically accelerate access to quality, affordable mental healthcare for kids. And we believe that our model — which brings together schools, therapists, payers, and patients on to the same operating system for the first time ever — uniquely positions us to lead the industry into this new era.
We're seeking a senior AI engineer to lead this vision by integrating generative AI and large language models into our product, support systems, and operations. You'll focus on building AI solutions for clinical documentation, care recommendations, automated support workflows, and more. This is a high-leverage, full-stack engineering and leadership role: you'll drive AI-first initiatives while building robust, scalable full stack products.
💻 What You’ll Do
Build full-stack AI-powered products
- Design and ship AI-first applications that support therapists, patients, families, and schools. Projects may include auto-drafting therapist notes, pre/post-session assistant tools, and AI agents for support and operations.
Lead AI adoption across Marble
- Identify and execute high-impact AI use cases across product, support, and internal tooling. Define and drive our long-term AI roadmap in collaboration with product, growth, and ops teams.
Own AI infrastructure and best practices
- Build and maintain the backend systems powering AI features — including prompt orchestration, model integration, feedback loops, and evaluation pipelines. Establish standards for safe, scalable, and responsible AI.
Raise the bar on engineering standards
- Be a senior voice on the team. Mentor engineers, share knowledge on AI integration, and help drive engineering quality across the org.
Collaborate cross-functionally
- Work closely with product, growth, and operations teams to understand user needs and ensure our AI solutions are useful, empathetic, and trustworthy.
✅ Qualifications
Requirements

- Strong experience with prompting techniques, RAG pipelines, evaluation mechanisms, and fine-tuning LLMs
- NYC-based and able to work from our SoHo office 2+ days/week
Bonus
- Prior startup or early-stage experience is strongly preferred, but not required

What We Do
Marble Health is building the operating system for youth mental health. A platform that connects schools, therapists, health plans, and families - who all have incentives to provide truly effective care to kids struggling with their mental health. Our mission is simple but ambitious: make it dramatically easier for young people to get the mental health care they need, and provide the products that make that care truly effective - ultimately enabling a happier & healthier generation of young people.
We’re reimagining how care can work when all the people who want to help are truly connected. Families, who are being devastated by this crisis; Schools, whose budgets are being affecting; Therapists, who want to help but struggle with the complexities of our healthcare system; and Insurance payers, who are paying the price when kids don't receive care. They all have incentives to fix this problem, but historically have been completely siloed. We're changing that.
And we're not stopping there. We're also defining the new era of behavioral healthcare with AI at the center. We’re creating what we think of as a “therapist Ironman suite” — a set of AI-powered tools, support systems, coaching, and resources that make clinicians better at their work. We’re building AI capabilities to elevate care quality at scale, from assisting with documentation to providing real-time guidance during sessions. We’re exploring how AI can act as a therapy copilot for students themselves, giving them resources and support between sessions.
By pairing a connected care network with cutting-edge AI, we’re aiming to set a new standard for how mental health care is delivered.
Why Work With Us

Marble Health Offices
Hybrid Workspace
Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.
We have a hybrid model, with most of the team based out of NYC. We believe an in person presence is crucial to team culture, but also prioritize flexibility. Employees in NYC come into the office ~3 days a week, and we have regular team onsites.
