Your Purpose

You will be an integral part of Bitso Business, the infrastructure for the future of cross-border payments. In this role, you'll report directly to our visionary leaders, who are dedicated to pioneering the next wave of financial innovation. Who You Are
- You articulate your ideas clearly and effectively in English, ensuring seamless communication within your team and across areas.
- 8+ years of robust experience working with Java systems, with a particular emphasis on recent versions, including Java 21 and popular frameworks like Spring.
- Solid experience in microservices architecture, demonstrating the ability to design and implement scalable, high-performance, and resilient distributed systems.
- Advanced experience with AWS, adept at leveraging cloud services for large-scale applications.
- You have extensive experience with asynchronous processing and messaging systems like Kafka.
- Your proficiency spans both Relational Databases, especially PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like Redis.
- You exhibit a deep understanding of software engineering principles, with a focus on coding, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and best practices for performance.
- You are not just a senior developer but also a mentor to junior engineers, providing guidance, code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- You have the ability for identifying and resolving complex technical issues, using your analytical skills and creative thinking to drive innovative solutions.
- Holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field sets you apart from the crowd.
