Our Autonomous Vehicles Platform Team is searching for a hands-on software engineer to design ground-breaking solutions that will revolutionize the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars! You will build replay tools & collaborate with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional teams to help validate & verify our AV software stack before it hits the road.
What you'll be doing:
Collaborate across platform software, infrastructure, and ADAS algorithm teams to translate requirements into replay framework architecture and design.
Drive technical solutions for new concepts related to replay framework and infrastructure.
Design, document and optimize software architectures and frameworks for real-world performance while matching or exceeding customer requirements.
Engage in exciting, fun and challenging work involving a plethora of unsolved problems.
What we need to see:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field (or equivalent experience).
12+ years of relevant experience working in software engineering and replay/simulation.
Excellent C and C++ programming skills.
Experience designing, developing, and debugging complex systems.
Strong understanding of QNX, Linux and real-time operating systems.
Solid understanding of replay/simulation concepts & strong foundation in mathematics.
Experience working on a large scale replay/simulation system (open and close loop) for an AV stack.
Ability to self-manage and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Knowledge of automotive systems, notably ADAS applications and preferably autonomous driving systems.
Embedded system, SW/HW cross-domain knowledge.
Hands-on and work well within a team of system, software and infrastructure engineers, with a significant level of detail orientation and a penchant for data organization and presentation.
