About Your Role
You are going to work on the heart of the Diligent One Platform; we are looking for new colleagues for the following products:
- Enterprise Risk Management: Diligent provides organizations with an integrated approach to monitoring and mitigating risk, so leaders can focus on driving success, not avoiding disaster. You can learn more about Diligent Risk here
- Audit: This product helps Fortune 500 companies to set up, plan and execute internal audits to ensure that the organization's risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively. You can read more about this app here.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be the backbone of your scrum team. Driving the planning and implementation of new features, supporting the growth of your teammates, and delivering value with technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Plan and implement new initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
- Feature Development: Develop and integrate complex features on AWS, focusing on scalability and performance.
- Championing Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards and improve code quality.
- Mentorship: Mentor and support the growth and development of team members.
- Platform Integration: Orchestrate applications into a cohesive and comprehensive platform.
Required skills
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in NodeJS with TypeScript.
- AWS Development: Strong expertise with AWS solutions, particularly Serverless, Networking, and CI/CD.
- Database Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to analyze and resolve performance issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Work Ethic: Self-driven and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Expected Experience
- Professional Background: Over 5 years of experience in developing complex software solutions for the web.
- Full SDLC Involvement: Track record of contributing to every stage of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Architecture Planning: Contributing to detailed architecture plans and collaborating in driving technical decision-making processes.
