Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in implementation of Identity and Access Management solution (from multiple vendors like SailPoint, IBM-ISIM, Oracle IAM )
- 4+ years of experience using Java, JavaScript, XML, SQL.
- Should have experience in SCIM and REST APIs.
- Ability to design and integrate new IAM solutions with existing infrastructure.
- Has good leadership skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Good negotiation, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in technology /Engineering.
- Knowledge of information security concepts. Deep working knowledge of at least one IAM tool.

- Demonstrate strong collaboration and teamwork, contributing effectively within cross-functional and technical teams.
- Propose innovative and practical technical solutions while working in a collaborative team environment.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Maintain hands-on expertise in operating systems and relational database management systems, including Linux, WebLogic, Tomcat, Oracle, SQL Server, and related platforms.
- Manage issues, incidents, and change processes using tracking tools such as Jira and ServiceNow, ensuring adherence to defined SLAs.
- Work within Agile methodologies, following iterative delivery practices.
- Exhibit a strong passion for hands-on technical involvement, remaining deeply engaged in engineering and operational processes.
- Demonstrate high emotional intelligence, balancing leadership with active listening to guide teams effectively.
- Leverage domain understanding of the Banking industry to ensure solutions align with regulatory, security, and business requirements.
