Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electronic table games for Casino platforms using the Unity3D game engine, in accordance with specifications defined by the Game Design / Game Analyst team.
- Translate detailed game design specifications into fully functional, high-performance game software.
- Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure all deliverables meet defined quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate closely with Game Analysts, QA engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Participate in design and architecture discussions, contributing technical expertise to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation for all developed systems and components.
- Adhere to coding standards, version control practices, and agile development processes.
- Proactively communicate project progress, risks, and blockers to the team and management.
Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong, demonstrable expertise in Unity, including scripting, animation systems, UI/UX development, and game state management.
- Proficiency in C# programming with a solid understanding of object-oriented principles.
- Strong software design and architecture skills, including experience with design patterns (MVC, Observer, State Machine, etc.). Design and develop reusable and reliable code
- Experience developing games or applications for electronic gaming machines (EGM), table games, or similar regulated gaming environments is highly regarded.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Perforce, Git or SVN.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and quality assurance practices.
- Understanding of performance optimisation techniques within Unity for embedded or fixed-hardware platforms. Experience in profiling and improve render performance.

- Excellent communication skills — ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Receptive to feedback with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field.
