JOB TITLE: Sr. Software Engineer
LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Design, develop and deliver automated processes based on best practices for process automation delivery. Maintain the lifecycle of resources created in Microsoft Azure; deploy and run docker images on OpenShift platform which is running on premises; configure, deploy, and maintain networking infrastructure related to Kubernetes Ingress resources to be consumed from external world; set up network routing between external world and DMZ networks using F5 LTM and GTM; develop the front-end UI changes for internal applications using ReactJS and develop backend REST API for backend applications using Spring data JPA for MySQL backend; integrate business layer with the RESTFUL services; Use 'Log4j' to configure the log of all levels of framework and use Gradle for dependency management and create application artifacts; analyze information to determine and recommend modification in the current application; work closely with the DevOps and testing teams to troubleshoot, identify, and fix issues within the application code; and conduct the development of CRUD functionality for various business components. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an Engineer- related occupation.
Experience must include:
* AWS and Azure:
* Terraform;
* Helm;
* AGIC, Ingress-Nginx or Nginx;
* Linux or Windows OS;
* Create, upgrade and maintenance using AKS; and
* Cloud networking.
RATE OF PAY: $150,995- $195,174 per year
