JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle., Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and problem tickets related to Dental Facets systems. Ensure timely resolutions to maintain SLA compliance and minimize business impact; process and complete work orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to operational standards; provide production support for OH Dental Facets, HGW Dental Facets, and Facets Dental API; collaborate with Dev teams and business stakeholders to support initiatives and enhancements; maintain HIPAA Gateway (HGW) claims processing to ensure timely and accurate claims adjudication; prevent delays that could impact TAT (Turnaround Time) and customer experience; support critical integrations with systems such as ISET call center, IVR, Dental Benefit Providers, CDB, Salesforce, and Claims Highway; identify opportunities for functional and technological advancements in Dental Facets systems; and participate in initiatives to improve system performance and user experience. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-occupation.
Experience must include:
* Core Java;
* Spring Framework;
* Python;
* SQL Server;
* Oracle;
* API management tools like Splunk Kubernetes, Facets FXI or Facets web services;
* EDI Mapping and Translation tools like 837 and 834; and
* Claims Pre-Edits like checking members eligibility information, provider's eligibility, and routing pretreatment estimate claims for adjudication.
RATE OF PAY: $143,521 - $195,174 per year
