DUTIES: Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform and Azure ARM templates; automate the provisioning of Azure resources such as VNETs, Subnets, NSGs, Data Lakes, Databricks workspaces, or ADF pipelines; automate the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of Azure Databricks notebooks, clusters, ML models, and ADF pipelines for production ML workflows and data engineering tasks; support the Value Connect product suite by managing infrastructure automation for data ingestion, transformation, and AI pipeline orchestration using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Machine Learning Services; establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to ensure continuous integration and deployment of cloud-based AI/ML solutions; enforce DevSecOps best practices, including RBAC configuration, Key Vault integration, logging with Azure Monitor, and secure networking through firewalls and private endpoints; supervise and mentor junior engineers and developers as a Senior SME providing architectural guidance on Azure product design, solution development, and automation strategies; lead initiatives to improve system performance, observability, and resilience through monitoring, alerting, and cost optimization; coordinate with cross-functional teams including product management, data science, and security to align infrastructure goals with business outcomes; drive innovation and consistency in cloud product design by establishing reusable modules and templates for repeatable deployments; improve operational efficiency and developer productivity by reducing manual tasks through automation and proactive monitoring; and ensure compliance and audit readiness for HIPAA and HITRUST standards by embedding securing and access controls into infrastructure code. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation. Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:
* Manage cloud resources using Terraform, ARM Templates, Azure Bicep, or CloudFormation;
* Program languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, or YAML;
* Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, TFS, or MS Build;
* Monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Splunk, CloudWatch, App Insights, Datadog or AWS CloudWatch;
* Azure AD, MFA, RBAC, IAM (AWS), PIM, Key Vault, SSL Certs, ADFS, Tenable Vulnerability Management, or DAST scans;
* NSG/ASG management in Azure, route tables, DNS, firewalls, Load Balancers (F5, Azure, AWS), Express Route/VPNs, traffic manager, and private endpoints;
* Docker, Kubernetes (AKS, EKS), Help, OpenShift, AWS, or Azure;
* Azure Databricks (MLFlow, Job APIs), Azure Machine Learning, ADF pipelines, or Feature Store integration;
* Work with cloud platforms such as Azure SQL, Redshift, MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Late, or S3;
* Data integration and analytics with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, PySpark, Kafka, Snowflake, or Delta Lake;
* Git, GitHub, TFS, or Perforce; and
* Operating systems like Windows Server, Ubuntu, Solaris, IIS, F5 Load Balancers, or SSL.
