Job Description

Job Summary:
People Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual to work full-time as a Software Engineer 2, Vue.js, NodeJs and BPMN expertise. This is an experienced professional position for someone with 5+ years of experience with an opportunity to be exposed to a dynamic, enterprise computing environment. The qualified candidate should have strong web development, technical troubleshooting and excellent non-technical communication skills, both in written and oral formats.
As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with the Product, Enterprise Infrastructure, Engineering, PMO, and other teams to support critical platforms, workflows, and projects.

Responsibilities:
Development & Support
● Develop, maintain and support applications using Vue.js, JavaScript or TypeScript.
● Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
● Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry-standard coding practices.
● Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
● Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth application performance..
● Work with design and content teams to translate wireframes into functional and visually appealing web pages.
● Implement security and data protection capabilities.
● Engage in continuous improvement and adoption of new features, and functionality.

Required Skills & Education:
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent preferred, or equivalent technical work
● Minimum 5 years of experience in JavaScript web development with Vue.js
● Proficiency in Node.js.
● Strong expertise in developing single-page web applications.
● Strong web development knowledge from ideation to deployment
● Experience using APIs for workflows and tasks automation.
● Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● The ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly requirements – and vice versa.
● Comfortable using the tools of modern collaborative Agile+Scrum SDLC, including Git, Jira, etc
● Experience working with AWS services EC2, S3, RDS, Cloudwatch, VPC, IAM and Route53 etc.

Good to Have:
● Experience with server-side frameworks such as Express.js (Node.js)
● Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
● Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
● Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
● Prior experience with Agile development methodologies.
● Experience with Flowable or any BPMN tools.
