We’re looking for a senior level engineer to be part of our growing team of technologists. In this role, you’ll write software alongside a team of global engineers on projects that matter to our customers and business travelers, and have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers. If you’re passionate about directly contributing to technical challenges, working independently and collaboratively across business units, and bringing thought leadership to improve our products, we look forward to meeting you.
What You’ll Do
Design and implement next-generation highly scalable, and reliable SaaS applications
Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs
Own delivery of application features end-to-end by working with product and engineering teams
Innovate and implement new ideas to solve software problems and improve customer experience
Participate in design and code reviews
Work closely with geographically distributed team members
Mentor, support and develop junior engineers
Seek and share domain and industry knowledge with the team to improve engineering practices
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
8+ years of experience in software development
Front-end web technologies (JavaScript, Node, or React)
Enterprise web applications (Java, Kotlin, or Spring)
Object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
SDLC and agile methodologies, and agile tools and programming practices
CI-CD principles and technologies
AWS services and building deployment pipelines
Strong understanding of distributed systems
Building and delivering multi-tenant cloud-native SaaS software
Passionate about collaboration and incorporating feedback from partners
Passion for maintaining high-quality standards in software development
Communicates complex information in a concise and clear way to technical and non-technical partners

The US national base salary range for this position is from
$130,600.00 - $242,500.00The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
