About the team
You will join the NCM (Network Configuration & Change Management) team within the EP5G management domain. The team is distributed with delivery and engineering presence in India and global stakeholders across product, UX and test. We are a collaborative, fast-moving group focused on building rich, scalable UI workflows that enable NCM to manage EP5G solutions. This role offers the opportunity to lead frontend delivery, influence product UX, and shape how next-generation 5G management is operated.
Role summary
We are looking for a senior frontend engineer to design and implement complex UI features for the NCM management system. The engineer will work closely with product, UX, backend teams and global peers to deliver high-quality, component-driven user interfaces that support EP5G lifecycle and operational workflows. The role includes hands-on development, code reviews, automation testing, mentoring junior engineers and driving frontend architecture and best practices.
Key responsibilities- 8+ years of experience- Design, implement and deliver complex frontend features and workflows for NCM to support EP5G management.- Build and extend the shared NCM UI component library and ensure consistent, maintainable implementations.- Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and interaction models into polished, usable screens.- Integrate frontend with RESTful backend services; define and consume APIs with backend teams.- Perform and lead code reviews, ensure code quality, and contribute to automation test coverage for UI.- Mentor and lead a small team of UI engineers; align technical work with product and strategic objectives.- Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, performance optimization and accessibility where applicable.- Participate in agile ceremonies, estimator/planning activities and cross-team alignment.
What we expect - Must have- Strong experience in modern frontend frameworks (Ember, Angular or React) and their ecosystems.- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3, including component-based UI development.- Experience building apps that consume REST APIs.- Solid skills in designing and implementing complex UI workflows and state management.- Experience with unit/integration testing and automation for frontend code.- Good communication and collaboration skills; experience mentoring or leading junior engineers.- Familiarity with delivering enterprise-grade software in distributed teams.
Nice to have- Experience with Python for tooling or backend automation.- Experience with AWS or cloud-native deployment.- Prior experience in telecom, cellular networks, or management domains (EMS/NMS).- Knowledge of UX best practices, accessibility standards and performance tuning.- Experience contributing to or maintaining shared component libraries.
