What you’ll do at Elekta
At Elekta, we don’t just build technology. We build hope for everyone dealing with cancer. As Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be designing and implementing the user workflows for our radiation therapy products and contribute to the innovation of tomorrow’s radiotherapy solutions. You will write code on both the frontend and the backend.
You will be part of a cross-functional software development team that works together on requirements, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
Your team is part of an international program that consists of a diverse group of specialists in mechanical engineering, electronics, physics, embedded software, and more.
Responsibilities
In addition to the above, the Senior Software Development Engineer will also take on responsibilities such as:
- Participating in all activities in software engineering, with emphasis on requirements specification, design, implementation, testing, and associated documentation whilst following company standards
- Perform evaluations of technologies, methodologies, and products
- Follow the technical and clinical evolution within the field
- Understand and adhere to the Elekta quality system and introduce improvements to its effectiveness.
What you bring
We are looking for a creative, and smart new colleague, who works best in teams. You have a can-do attitude and a problem-solving mindset. The team works with software solutions that guide the users through the radiotherapy treatment workflow. They are enthusiastic about writing efficient code with great user experience - we think you are too. In addition, we believe you have a:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, physics, electronics or similar.
- Worked with frontend development using Angular and Typescript.
- Worked with backend development in C# .NET.
- Experience of working in MedTech or some other regulated industry.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
