Senior Software Developer

International Medical Group, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks Senior Software Developer. 
 
The position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, but remote work within the U.S. will also be considered.
 
This position designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications and components supports and/or installs software applications and components. The
position will utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions mainly using C#, ASP.NET, and Angular. This position will also help consult with the business and other
developers to design solutions.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications and components supports and/or installs software applications and components;
• Works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow;
• Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, .NET, WCF, SOAP, RESTful Services, and C#;
• Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications;
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement;
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects;
• Perform code reviews;
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies;
• Create technical specifications and test plans.

 
Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
