Do you want to help build the test rigs of the future?
At Test System Engineering, we design the next generation of test rigs – from robust mechanics and advanced hardware to smart real-time control, intuitive applications, and powerful analytics software.
We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer who wants to help shape the next-generation software platform for our modular rig systems.
The department consists of 12 people and supports all Husqvarna product groups with expertise and equipment.
About the role
The platform we are working on is brand new and offers an exciting technical breadth: user interfaces in JavaScript/React, back-end in C# and Java, data storage in SQL databases managed with Liquibase, data processing with Python via Databricks, and visualization in Power BI. All of this interacts with real-time control via PLCs to enable automated testing – around the clock.
You will be a key part of an agile development team where you will have the opportunity to work across a wide range – from creating smart web and desktop applications to building stable databases and shaping the user experience together with our customers. With us, you won’t be a small cog in a big machine, but a key contributor who influences architecture, design, and methodology.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with several years of experience who enjoys working on solutions that span multiple applications and systems. You value collaboration and communication within the team – and also enjoy engaging with end users, where you can explain complex solutions in a simple way. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We believe that you have experience in:
- Developing web and desktop applications
- Managing databases
- Version and issue tracking systems
- Work agilely and drive development based on requirements and UX design
- Master JavaScript (React), Java, C#, and SQL
- Handling Azure pipelines
- Manage Linux web servers
Bonus if you also have experience with:
- Automation and real-time control (PLC)
- Liquibase, Databricks, or Microsoft Power BI
- UI/UX tool Figma
Location
The position is based in Huskvarna. You’re expected to be on-site every day, but we also offer some flexibility for hybrid work.
Your application
You will be working in an environment where innovation is a given. Together, we create systems that make a difference – want to join us?
Please submit your application as soon as possible, as we apply ongoing selection. We do not accept applications via e-mail due to GDPR regulations.
