We are looking for a Technical Leader to drive the architecture, technology, design, quality and modernization initiatives of Everbridge’s products.
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong JavaScript experience to join our dynamic team. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing test automation frameworks and strategies to ensure the highest quality of our software. You will collaborate closely with development teams to build, test, and deliver robust and scalable products.
What You’ll Do
- Design, Plan and Implement manual & automation testing for new features, interfaces, and applications.
- Collaborate with software developers and product managers in small scrum teams to deliver high-quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop automation test frameworks, and tools, and maintain test environments for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Estimate QA efforts and analyze and communicate test results. Identify any potential quality issues, as per the defined process and escalate as required.
- Enhance test automation frameworks and contribute to improving test coverage, release velocity, and production health. Be the champion for product quality.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in test automation.
What You’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience in testing enterprise grade/highly scalable, distributed applications, products and services.
- Experience with Python or similar programming language for test automation. (Python preferred)
- Must have experience in API test automation using Pytest, Rest Assured, etc or similar tools.
- Exposure to Frontend automation using Selenium, Playwright etc.
- Experience with one or more version control systems such as Github, Gitlab etc.
- Experience in database technologies (SQL and NOSQL)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to learn new skills/technologies quickly
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps concepts is preferred.
- Familiar with containerization and related technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
- Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus
- Have a Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or related major
