Develop and optimize scalable .NET backend systems, APIs, database queries, and FMS reporting solutions. Responsibilities include architecture, coding standards, code reviews, mentoring, testing, performance tuning, CI/CD, Azure services, production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis. The role collaborates with architects, product managers, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders while applying secure coding, Clean Architecture, SOLID, and modern software engineering practices.

The person for this role will develop the .net core, optimizing the queries and API for the reports in FMS team. This will enable the delivery of the FMS reports that will be used by the FMS users with different roles. The users of the reports will be required for monitoring, analysis and for compliance purpose.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Identify and resolve technical debt through refactoring and modernization initiatives.
• Perform peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and secure coding guidelines.
• Mentor junior developers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Assist team members in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Conduct technical walkthroughs and code review sessions.
• Design APIs, database schemas, and integration strategies.
• Evaluate technical options and recommend the best solution based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create test cases, perform unit testing and self-review before raising Pull Requests (PRs, ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Should be able to break down large features into manageable technical tasks.
• Analyse application bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Improve database efficiency through indexing, query optimization, and execution plan analysis.

Skills Required
- Strong experience with C# and .NET 8 or .NET Core
- Experience developing ASP.NET Core Web APIs and ASP.NET MVC applications
- Experience with React, HTML, and JavaScript
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs
- Knowledge of dependency injection, multithreading, and asynchronous programming
- Experience with API documentation using Swagger or OpenAPI
- Experience implementing JWT Bearer, OpenID Connect, cookie, role-based, and claims-based authentication
- Strong SQL skills, including queries, views, stored procedures, functions, indexing, query tuning, and execution plan analysis
- Experience with database design, normalization, transaction handling, and database performance optimization
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, repositories, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Serilog, Application Insights, structured logging, telemetry, monitoring, performance diagnostics, and error troubleshooting
