  • Influencer & creator frameworks: Architect sophisticated influencer and talent engagement strategies, building strategic frameworks for long-term community growth and brand advocacy.
  • Integrated campaign planning: Collaborate with cross-functional account, creative, and media teams to ensure social strategies are deeply integrated into wider marketing communications.
  • AI-powered strategy: Champion the use of WPP Open and advanced AI tools to accelerate strategic research, automate audience segmentation, and pioneer personalized content strategies.
  • Client consulting & thought leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to clients on emerging platforms, algorithmic shifts, and digital culture, proactively introducing innovative strategic solutions.
  • Pitching & growth: Drive the social and influencer components of new business pitches, presenting strategic visions that secure new clients and expand current business.
  • Mentorship & team development: Coach and mentor junior strategists and managers within the Social@Ogilvy team, fostering a culture of curiosity and strategic excellence.
 What You'll Bring
  •  You have proven experience as a Social Strategist or similar role within an agency or in-house environment, with a portfolio showcasing impactful, creative, and data-driven social campaigns.
  • You have a deep, intuitive understanding of the evolving social media landscape, platform nuances, and a passion for culture that informs your strategic thinking.
  • You have a solid grasp of brand marketing fundamentals, including how brands grow, archetypes, and purpose-driven strategies.
  • You are proficient in social listening, analytics, and reporting tools to unearth deep audience insights and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • You have experience in leading and facilitating dynamic brainstorming and workshops, fostering an environment where big ideas flourish.
  • You are a natural collaborator and connector who excels at building strong relationships with clients, internal teams, influencers, and external partners. You are a 'people person' who listens and leads with empathy.
  • You have an enquiring mind that constantly seeks new ways to work smarter, challenge norms, and bring creativity to every task, eager to test opinions and share knowledge.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to articulate complex strategies clearly, present confidently, and adapt your message to diverse audiences.
