Job Title
- Help maintain the reliability, performance, and scalability of applications by applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles across the application lifecycle.
- Develop and operate effective monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions to support early issue detection and continuous improvement.
- Guide incident response and post‑incident learning, partnering with development and support teams to identify and address root causes.
- Support cost‑efficient operations through FinOps practices, including capacity planning and resource optimization.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning, including backup and restore validation, failover testing, and improving Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) metrics.
- Experience in incident response, issue analysis, and applying improvements in production environments.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform, and release processes for cloud and hybrid environments (including Microsoft Azure, Windows virtual machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Internet Information Services (IIS)).
- Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Splunk, Application Insights, or System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams across development, operations, and business areas, including applying FinOps practices and supporting business continuity.
- A good background in performance tuning, capacity planning, security, compliance, and data protection, along with clear communication skills for documenting and sharing knowledge.
