We are seeking a Senior or Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead initiatives in building scalable infrastructure, improving reliability, and advancing AIOps strategies. Ideal candidates will bring a strong background in both application development and infrastructure, with a focus on performance tuning, automation, and observability. As a senior team member, you’ll shape SRE practices, mentor engineers, and work cross-functionally to ensure our systems are resilient, secure, and future-proof.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide junior SREs and product engineers across the organization, promoting a culture of reliability and continuous learning.
- Lead efforts to ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of production systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to integrate SRE best practices into the SDLC.
- Advance observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Splunk), and integrate AIOps tools for intelligent alerting, anomaly detection, and automed remediation.
- Architect and implement disaster recovery, high availability, and failover strategies.
- Champion security best practices across infrastructure and platform layers, leveraging automation and AIOps for proactive thread detection.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering roles, ideally with prior experience in product development.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, system internals, and performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) and related services (e.g., Compute, Cloud Storage, CloudSQL, GKE).
- Experience with modern observability stacks (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
