The Role
At Sovos, we're building a smarter, more connected approach to tax compliance, and third-party partnerships are central to how we deliver for clients around the world. As a Senior Services Partnerships Representative, you'll manage key vendor relationships, lead procurement activity, and use technology (including AI tools) to drive efficiency, quality, and insight across our services ecosystem. This is a strategic, cross-functional role where your judgement and relationship skills directly support how we scale and serve our clients.
More specifically, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of third-party providers, ensuring strong relationships, service quality, cost control, and effective issue resolution.
- Lead procurement activity for tax and related services, including RFPs, vendor selection, onboarding, renewals, contract support, and fee reviews.
- Support Services Partnerships projects, regulatory changes, and client-driven requirements by coordinating input across internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain vendor governance standards, including due diligence, accurate records, internal resources, and clear ownership of provider information.
- Leverage technology, reporting, and AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making across the vendor lifecycle.
- Provide guidance to colleagues, support workload allocation where required, and share knowledge to improve team consistency.
- Represent Sovos professionally in provider meetings and support special projects as required.
What You Bring to Sovos
- You've built solid experience in vendor management, procurement, or related commercial functions (equivalent experience preferred).
- Knowledge of indirect tax compliance processes is highly advantageous.
- Effective relationship management skills, with clear communication, active listening, and sound stakeholder judgement.
- Confidence to lead vendor negotiations; exposure to contract management and client services is preferred.
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload with strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort using technology, including AI tools and business applications, responsibly and effectively to fulfil role requirements.
