Credence has an immediate need for a Senior ServiceNow Developer who will assist in solutioning and development of applications leveraging ServiceNow OOTB modules and customization as necessary to ensure the required business outcomes are delivered. The person will assist in the technical solution and development / implementation of solutions that leverage ServiceNow modules in custom scoped application development to migrate legacy applications to the DLA Enterprise ServiceNow platform. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you
will deliver products and services defined throughout the lifecycle of the project and resolve post-production deficiencies. You will also manage and participate in designing and developing solutions using various ServiceNow modules and features including CSM, S2P, APO, IntegrationHub, Flows, Business Rules, Script Includes, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Asset Management, CMDB, AI Agents, and other ServiceNow modules, as required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure development aligns with ServiceNow design patterns and best practices and is reusable, reliable, and adaptive.
- Understanding business context and processes to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation.
- Ensure that platform capabilities are efficiently and effectively utilized to drive expected business outcomes
- Requirements elicitation, design, development, testing, training, and implementation support
- Manage ServiceNow solution design, development, testing, and go-live support.
- Work with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and refine data requirements
- Work closely with the ServiceNow technical team to convert requirements into design and migration steps
- Understanding business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation.
- Ability to maintain and develop scoped applications
- Working with project resources to define sustainment governance and processes as part of operational transition.
- Provide guidance to convert requirements into design and migration steps.
- Proficient with business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, flow designer, and notifications.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of ServiceNow experience
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain a secret clearance is required
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow design patterns, best practices, architecture, data model, and core concepts.
- Solid understanding of ACLs

- A problem solver and critical thinker
- Prior experience participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, and promotion into production.
- Proficient in AngularJS, Javascript, HTML, CSS and XM
