ECS is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Architect to work remotely.
ECS is seeking a talented Senior ServiceNow Architect to join our successful and growing team supporting the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC). The JCDC is CISA’s flagship initiative for uniting government, industry, and international partners to proactively defend against cyber threats. Our ECS team is at the center of providing support to JCDC as they continue to plan, share, and respond to cyber threats in real time to support the greater cyber community and we are looking to grow our team supporting this critical mission.
We are currently seeking a strong ServiceNow Systems Architect (SA) who is responsible for optimizing, transforming, and ensuring organizations are efficient and effective across the ServiceNow platform. Solution Architects design customer solutions, provide support to sales, participate in the SOW process, engage in setting standards and education on new or updated applications within ServiceNow.
- Architect or consult on the architecture of project. Responsible for ensuring the solution has long term viability vs short term gain.
- Provide support in sales opportunities as needed.
- Maintain training and knowledge of designated applications, as well as IT and ServiceNow related certifications.
- Ensure business processes and stories align with the technical solution, including story pointing for customer projects.
- Perform discovery work sessions to determine the solution requirements. Assist in gathering and/or reviewing clients process requirements and assisting on how they map to ServiceNow.
- Perform design work sessions and produce deliverables, including mock-ups, flow diagrams, high-level architecture and design documents etc.
- Assist customers with proof-of-concept activities.
- Identify new opportunities to provide additional value to clients and improve business performance.
- Maintain high level of client satisfaction.
- Provide training, technical consulting and mentoring to technical consultants to ensure efficient use of ServiceNow capabilities.
- Perform development and configuration activities as needed.
- Understand Solution Architect role and responsibilities in the ECS Elite methodology.
- Participate in recurring Solution Architect focused sessions.
- Must be a US Citizen per contract, no dual Citizenships.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance or higher.
- Must be able to work across multiple programs across the Federal and DOD space.
- Functional and technical knowledge of ServiceNow.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years focused on the ServiceNow platform, including custom app development and system integrations, and 3+ years as a ServiceNow Solution Architect.
- Functional knowledge and implementation experience with SPM and AppEngine.
- Functional knowledge and implementation experience of a minimum of 2 of the following ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, PSDS, SAM, HAM).
- Understanding of Enterprise Solutions including Customer Service, Human Resources, Project Management, etc.
- Knowledge of Integrations such as LDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure, Web Services.
- 2+ years of experience building custom applications in ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of relational databases.
- Strong desire to learn new technology.
- Minimum of two ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification (or completion within 6 months of start of position).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
- Strong customer relations and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare for, facilitate and lead customer work sessions.
- Demonstrates basic ServiceNow development skills.
- Possesses ability to create process flow diagrams and high-level architecture and documentation.
- Experience in Agile methodology.
