What you'll do
- Uplift of Syft’s Google Cloud Platform environment to align with Xero’s security standards
- Input into design and planning for remediation tasks
- Prepare & test implementation plans to help ensure minimisation of service disruption
- Collaborate on implementation of remediation tasks
- Work with other Xero & Syft teams to ensure buy in from stakeholders
What you'll bring with you
- Google Cloud Platform experience and knowledge with IAM
- Compute, Networking, Cloud Storage, Databases amongst other areas
- Security experience and interest in growing your security skills
- A willingness to support and understand the different solutions we use to support our platform systems
- Experience writing code in Python or other scripting languages
- Be a proactive champion of agile and delivery practices who coaches and develops others in this space in order to ensure a consistent approach to ways of working
- A basic understanding of network and system administration security
- A strong drive to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
- A passion for delivering high quality products to your customers
