The Edenred Digital Center (EDC) in Bucharest, Romania is Edenred Group's new Digital hub for strategic IT projects.
Position SCOPE & Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to Agile Lead, the Scrum Master will make sure all Agile good practices are implemented properly according to Scrum framework and company’s objectives.
Missions in Scrum ceremonies:
- Plan all Scrum ceremonies with the Scrum team
- Attend all ceremonies and make sure they happen as expected
- Help creating excellent collaboration between the Product Owners and Developers
- Work with Product Owners to handle backlogs and new requests
- Support the Product Owners to handle Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Backlog Refinement ceremonies
- Remind Scrum rules when required
- Help the Scrum team to identify what can be improved during Sprint Retrospective
Missions during development sprints:
- Make sure each sprint reaches the Sprint Goal previously planned
- Make sure all Scrum team members communicate easily and actively
- Fix any issue that contributes to decrease team velocity
The Scrum Master will also be in charge of:
- Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices, values and principles
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks
- Work with Agile Lead to define and coach team members on different frameworks, models and methodologies (SAFe, LeSS, Spotify, etc.) used to scale Agile
- Lead changes required for reaching the scaling goals
- Following up the product quality by defining KPI and keep track of them
- Help define Agile metrics to be used by the team and keep track of them on each sprint
- Leading steering instances to communicate on product follow-up (status update, blocking points, risks)
- Considering overall project organization and providing suggestions to improve it
Required skills & profile:
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in an environment using Agile methodologies (Scrum preferable)
- 3+ years’ experience as Scrum Master
- A Scrum Master certification (PSM, CSM, PMI-ACP, etc.) would be appreciated
- Experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Technical background it's a plus
Soft Skills:
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Adaptable to change in rapidly evolving environment
- Ability to work across departmental boundaries to resolve issues
- International experience or working in international projects is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
