Purpose of Job
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Product development
- Develop color cosmetics formulas with high technical challenges, finish the validation of formula part
- Co-work with process engineer to finish the pilot trial
- Compile and review all related technical files
- Coach fillers to develop the products and solve relative technical issues
- Identify, analyze and drive resolution of technical issues
- Lead fillers and suppliers for the action plan execution
2. Problem solving
Education/Knowledge/Experience
- Mater degree or above, exceptional candidates with a bachelor's degree may be considered, major in fine chemistry, applied chemistry, biology, materials or other related, 3~5 years’ color cosmetics formula developing experience in large cosmetics company.
- Developed independently more 20+ products and launched in market successfully, including lip stick, lip gloss and other wax base color cosmetics, emulsion type color cosmetics and liquid color cosmetics.
- Technical skills: Independently develop formulas and process of color cosmetics, identify and drive resolution of technical issues of color cosmetics in products’ life cycle
- Well communication and logic thinking ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to keep learning
- Be skilled at writing, listening and speaking in English.
- Be familiar with raw materials, formula design and quality standard of color cosmetics
- Familiar with regulatory requirements of US /EU/China
