Senior SAP Engineer - FICO (All Genders)

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO professional to lead complex AP and finance transformation initiatives across global environments. The ideal candidate brings deep functional expertise in SAP FICO and Controlling, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end implementations. This role requires excellent stakeholder management, the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on experience managing integrated AP/FICO workstreams within international and distributed delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills to take ownership of sub‑projects, understand critical issues, manage key meetings, and drive stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct and lead workshops, manage an international team of consultants and subcontractors, coordinate effectively with cross‑functional teams, and ensure delivery of fully integrated solutions.
• Work concurrently on multiple engagements, maintaining prioritization and execution discipline.
• provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to consultants, ensuring the team follows best practices, delivers consistent documentation, and adheres to project delivery methodology.
• Drive team performance, ensure workload distribution, conduct regular check‑ins, and facilitate issue resolution to ensure smooth delivery across all AP and FICO workstreams

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP FICO, with at least 4 full lifecycle implementations covering design, build, testing, and go‑live.
• Deep understanding of Accounts Payable processes to analyze current gaps and propose standard SAP‑aligned solutions.
• Strong analytical skills to dissect complex processes impacting MAP, including purchase returns, period‑end activities, and GR/IR clearing.
• Good understanding of SAP integration technologies, including API, EDI, and Integration Suite.
• Hands‑on experience working with OCR applications for invoice automation and end‑to‑end AP processing.
• Deep knowledge of the Controlling (CO) module, including structures, cost objects, planning, and actuals. Ability to map business structures and processes to the correct controlling objects.
• Strong experience in Profit Center accounting, structure design, substitution/validation rules, and configuration of splitting rules to ensure compliant financial statutory reporting.
• Ability to guide and review deliverables from the AP/FICO consulting team, ensuring functional specifications, test scripts, and configuration documents meet quality standards.
• Experience managing offshore/onshore delivery models and driving alignment across distributed teams.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills, acting as the primary escalation point for AP/FICO topics and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
