We are looking for a Senior test engineer with extensive experience in all aspects of the Salesforce platform, who is enthusiastic about joining a diverse software organization.
The Senior test engineer will collaborate with the Salesforce team to ensure that projects are thoroughly tested and delivered in alignment with business requirements, overseeing the entire process from requirements gathering through design and development to QA and final release deployment.
Responsibilities will span various squads, sprints, and Salesforce clouds (Sales, Support, Experience).
This role involves addressing challenges and issues, managing solutions, implementing corrective actions, documenting lessons learned, and gathering and sharing pertinent information. This position also contributes to the development and enhancement of relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Define the scope of different types of testing (like Database Testing, Accessibility Testing, Compatibility Testing, APIs) and provide expert support and hands on testing.
- Identify the scope of NFRs early in the stage and start taking required actions.
- Complete the testing tasks assigned within a sprint, manual or automated, on time with minimum rework or defects.
- Participate in Daily scrum and track the existing status again the actual Progress.
- Produce test deliverables, Test Plans and Test Outcome Reports
- Proactively pursue enhancements and increased efficiencies in processes.
Requirements
What you will need to be successful in this role
- Strong well developed testing skills and in-depth knowledge of current testing techniques across the test phases. Manual and automated testing will be required.
- Experience of different types of testing such as;- System Testing (Functional Testing), Systems Integration Testing ,Regression, UAT, Database API, Accessibility, Compatibility
- Has understanding of Automation and Non-Functional Testing to help in planning and Governance.
- Good in oral and written communication skills and able to take part in meetings and discussions.
- A proactive individual who is capable of working independently and is also an effective team player.
- Capable of operating at both detailed and abstract levels.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Applicants should possess at least 3 years of relevant experience.
