About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to help build and scale the core systems that power our go-to-market engine - and lead how AI transforms internal workflows. This is a highly technical, high-ownership role at the intersection of Salesforce, integrations, and intelligent automation. You'll design scalable platform solutions while also building AI-powered systems that automate complex, multi-step processes across the business.

What you’ll do
Core Platform Development
- Build scalable solutions across Salesforce (Apex, LWC, Flows) with strong architectural discipline
- Design clean, maintainable systems using reusable patterns and frameworks
- Own integrations with external systems via APIs and event-driven architectures
- Drive code quality through testing, CI/CD, and modern development practices
Systems & Data Engineering
- Build reliable, scalable integrations that ensure clean data flow across systems
- Improve system performance, reliability, and operational scalability
- Partner cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical solutions
Ownership & Execution
- Own projects end-to-end: discovery - design - build - deploy - iterate
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex platform and integration issues
- Deliver production grade solutions with strong documentation and long-term maintainability
Agentic AI Workflows
- Design and deploy AI-powered workflows that automate complex internal processes end-to-end
- Identify high-impact automation opportunities across teams and systems
- Build agentic systems that coordinate actions across tools, data, and workflows
- Leverage LLMs and emerging AI tooling to reduce manual work and increase efficiency
- Develop integrations and automation layers that enable intelligent, autonomous task execution
- Own AI initiatives from concept through production, with strong engineering rigor
- Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering to scale AI capabilities across the organization
- Help define how AI is embedded into core business systems and operations
About you
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Integrations)
- Strong experience building scalable, production-grade systems
- Deep understanding of APIs, system design, and data flows
- Experience working in complex, Cross-functional environments
- Interest in or experience with AI, LLMs, or workflow automation
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate in ambiguity
- Clear communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Location: Richmond, VA; Arlington, VA; or Remote (U.S.). Associates near one of our office locations may work in-office, hybrid, or remotely. Remote opportunities are available to candidates throughout the United States.
Salary Range: $132,000-$178,000 per year (depending on experience and location)
Additional Compensation: This position may be eligible to participate in company bonus plan.
The final salary offer will depend on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and geographic location. The actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

- Strong experience with Apex, triggers, and batch jobs
- Experience building Lightning Web Components
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certification
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect
