About the RoleKastech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Salesforce Developer to join our growing Enterprise Applications IT team. In this role, you will collaborate with admins, functional leaders, and business users to support, enhance, and lead the ongoing development of our Salesforce environment.
You’ll be responsible for delivering customized Salesforce solutions, supporting integrations, and providing technical leadership to ensure smooth adoption of scalable systems. This is a hands-on role where you’ll troubleshoot issues, implement new functionality, and drive process improvements to support global business success.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with Salesforce Admins, functional leaders, and end-users to design and deploy new business processes.
Develop scalable solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Java, Flows, and Process Builder.
Execute on Salesforce technical aspects including data migrations, integrations, AppExchange products, and custom development.
Lead technical design and enforce best practices for integration, development, deployment, and testing.
Proactively recommend ways to leverage Salesforce to improve productivity and scalability.
Define and manage release/change management processes for Salesforce applications.
Ensure continued smooth operations of Salesforce applications, integrations, and tools.
Troubleshoot production issues and recommend effective solutions.
Provide technical oversight for external vendor development work.
Document requirements, workflows, and technical solutions.
Manage multiple projects with varying timelines in an Agile environment.
7+ years Salesforce development experience, with strong focus on Sales Cloud and Lightning.
Expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Controllers, Components, Flows, Process Builder, REST/SOAP web services.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model design, custom objects, fields, labels, settings, metadata types.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, ANT), and environment migration.
Proficiency with SQL, SOQL, JSON, ETL, Excel.
Experience in Agile methodology and tools like Jira.
Exposure to API integrations, AppExchange products, and third-party system integrations.
Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, TFS, or other version control systems.
Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Strong documentation, workflow design, and problem-solving skills.
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
Salesforce Administrator certification (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience with Sales Operations and CRM applications in a professional services environment.
Exposure to analytics and database technologies is a plus.
