Benefits:

  • In the first 90 days: You’ll join our CRM program ensuring the expanded Salesforce platform at TU is a global, consistent operating platform for our Contact Centre agents.  You’ll work with our Enterprise Architecture and Contact Centre teams to help shape the vision of what such a platform should look like, how it should interact with our other backend systems, and how to manage such a platform for success.  You will be responsible for migrating web application to Salesforce.
  • Beyond 90 days:  You’ll ensure operating model adherence and make adjustments to the model as necessary to ensure the business user community is adequately supported.  You’ll continue to work with the Enterprise Architecture and Program Management office to evaluate further opportunities to enhance our global operations practices.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Own the technical design and development of complex Salesforce projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce applications, integrations, and customizations.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of Salesforce solutions through rigorous testing and code reviews.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce applications.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • You will continue to evolve the functionality and capabilities provided through the platform to our Consumer Operations groups.
  • You will bring expertise to the table to help evolve the operating model of the development team and provide guidance on Salesforce capabilities to the business community.

Impact You'll Make:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of total experience, with at least 4 years in Salesforce development.
  • Extensive experience with Apex, Visual Force, SOQL, LWC, Service Cloud (Case Mgt, Email-to-Case, Web-to-Case), Integrations (LivePerson, Amazon Connect, custom integration of Salesforce with web applications).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Salesforce projects.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, and other web services.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II) are highly desirable.
  • Experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools.
  • Experience and knowledge of working with MuleSoft integration.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies such as SCRUM.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Copado) for Salesforce development.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
