The Navy Marine Corps IT Business Area and Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior Salesforce Developer to support the development and maintenance of Salesforce applications, including leading the definition and deployment of new projects using Salesforce. The position will be a remote/telework role in support of a U.S. Navy program, other business opportunities, and other corporate initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom applications and features within Salesforce applications.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Salesforce.
- Lead discussions with business analysts and project managers to analyze requirements from stakeholders and translate into development actions.
- Create and contribute to technical documentation of the system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during development and day-to-day use.
- Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree in other disciplines).
- 8-12 years of experience in Salesforce Development, or 6-10 years with Master’s Degree.
- Current Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (minimum requirement) or higher.
- Experience working with Sales Cloud, automation, and integrations with non-Salesforce tools.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to determine requirements.
- Ability to research solutions to development issues when the answer is not clear.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active secret clearance.
- Experience working in a Gov Cloud environment.
- Prior experience supporting Department of Defense programs.
- Additional Salesforce development or architect certifications

Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
