NEOGEN is seeking a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst who will lead a team in Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud optimization and expansion projects in support of Neogen’s commercial business strategy.
This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. However, candidates must be willing to travel periodically for in-person meetings and team events up to 20% both domestic and international.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects in Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud from ideation and requirements gathering to implementation and hypercare support
- Lead a team of onshore and offshore Salesforce business analysts, admins, and architects, including providing clear work priorities and supporting team member growth and development
- Develop a deep understanding of Neogen business processes and strategy through collaboration and regular engagement with key stakeholders and process owners.
- Prioritize project and enhancement work based on business strategic needs, manage sprints and overall work backlog, and communicate to other teams and stakeholders with clarity and transparency.
- Gather and document systems and process requirements through meetings, workshops, site visits, and job shadowing; create and maintain documentation on Salesforce business processes
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, break high-level requirements into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs
- Analyze/document current and future business process models, high-level requirements (scope), and detailed functional specifications and/or stories; and communicate to the developers and extended team effectively
- Collaborate with other application teams to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency
- Willingness to learn related applications and integration technologies that contribute to the end-to-end process integration with other customer experience applications
- Advises on business requirements and solution options, bridging the gap between people, process, and technology
- Facilitate testing of new Salesforce functionality rollouts
- Create training materials and conduct user training
- Research, evaluate and recommend recent technologies to support the growth and strategic direction of the business
- Perform new release evaluations and execute new functionality rollouts
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Salesforce business analyst experience with a global organization.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred.
