JOB DESCRIPTION

  • This is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days/week in a UL office. Candidates can be located in Princeton, NJ, Austin, TX or Chicagoland area.
  • Engages with customers via telephone or electronic inquiries for the purpose of taking orders, order fulfilment, or admin-related post-sales activities.
  • Develops and shares quotes for specified categories of leads using standardized pricing tools.
  • Processes orders into the ERP after quote acceptance, ensures clients receive follow-up of sent quotes and assists in turning quotes into orders.
  • Supports account managers and owners by performing administrative-related tasks.
  • Tracks previous orders and supplies data from internal data sources when directed by account owners and representatives to facilitate deeper knowledge of accounts and account opportunities.
  • As a specialist for the team, may provide subject matter guidance to team members with less experience.
  • Coordinate efforts and resources with related teams or departments to achieve objectives.
  • Lead the teams to resolve post-sale inquiries received through either phone, email, or contact us form submissions with respect to invoicing, multiple listing, name/address changes, file transfers, my UL support queries, FUS estimates, file/volume withdrawals, reinstatements, alternate listing, Product iQ support etc.
  • Identifies & anticipates patterns and links; looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications.
  • Helps the team to tackle complex problems using new and innovative solutions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the unusual scenarios with clarity and suggests improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team or Department.
  • May act as a team lead, coordinating the work of others, though not a supervisor.
  • The target annual pay range for this position is $62,400.-81,600. which includes a base salary of $52,000. - $68,000. and 100% on target performance. Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan. The annual target incentive for this position is 20% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance.
  • Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level. We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours). QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Business acumen and a sufficient understanding of business sales processes.
  • Sufficient understanding of UL products / services for aligned industry to effectively generate quotes.
  • Experience managing internal systems and data sources.
  • Strong communication and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software.
