The Fleet Management/Market Intelligence Leader is responsible for delivering strategic market, customer, fleet, and competitive insights that support business growth across the Gas Power Services business in Asia. This role plays a critical part in commercial planning, country strategy, business reviews, and pipeline development by translating market dynamics, installed base trends, decarbonization developments, and customer priorities into actionable business recommendations. Working closely with Services, Gas Power, Aero, New Units, and broader GE Vernova stakeholders, the role helps strengthen decision-making, improve data-driven operations, and align regional market intelligence with commercial growth priorities.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead market intelligence activities that support business growth, including analysis of power market trends, fleet dynamics, customer priorities, competitor activity, and country-level developments related to decarbonization and energy transition.
• Monitor market trends, customer developments, and competitor activity to support country-by-country market insight generation, strategy development, and annual market handbook creation.
• Develop and deliver recurring intelligence outputs such as monthly market intelligence updates, business insight communications, leadership briefing materials, and inputs for operating and business reviews.
• Serve as a key focal point for fleet dynamics and market intelligence for the Services organization, representing regional market perspectives in cross-functional discussions with business leaders, pole teams, and HQ.
• Lead and support country deep dive processes by integrating market outlook, customer priorities, strategic account views, campaign opportunities, key country messages, country scoring, and business asks into actionable growth discussions.
• Own and maintain market handbooks, country intelligence materials, and related strategic planning tools, ensuring effective use, quality control, and appropriate information governance.
• Translate market and customer insights into commercial actions by linking intelligence to business plans, forecasts, campaigns, product and solution development needs, and pipeline generation opportunities.
• Improve installed base and commercial data quality across core systems by validating and reconciling fleet data, customer accounts, operational profiles, contract status, retirement and addition assumptions, and other critical commercial datasets.
• Support data-driven business operations through stewardship of commercial and installed base data used for forecasting, segmentation, opportunity tracking, and strategic planning.
• Support commercial planning and business operating rhythms, including forecasting, management reviews, strategic review sessions, and leadership updates requiring high-quality market and customer insight.
• Partner across Services, Gas Power, Aero, New Units, and other GE Vernova businesses to improve alignment, strengthen account visibility, and support regional commercial priorities.
Required Qualifications
• Significant experience in market intelligence, sales operations, commercial strategy, business planning, or a related function within the energy, power, industrial, or infrastructure sectors. (have at least 10 years of experience in power industry)
• Strong understanding of power market dynamics, customer drivers, commercial processes, and installed base or fleet management concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze market, customer, operational, and commercial data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Experience supporting commercial planning, forecasting, business reviews, segmentation, or strategic growth initiatives.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, installed base, or related business systems, with the ability to improve and maintain critical data quality.
• Working knowledge of decarbonization, energy transition trends, and relevant policy or regulatory developments affecting power generation and service markets is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for business and leadership audiences.
